Welcome to the Sweet Sixteen!
Round
3 of the 128 Man Handicapping tournament is complete. Here we are now
approaching the money rounds! Every capper who advances beyond this
stage gets their share of the $3250 prize-pool pie. Round 3 was a good
one, we saw some forum bigwigs go down in Cabo and Bread, along with
SBR forum newcomer I.R.B.
In one of the most exciting matches of Round 3, I.R.B. and Smitch124 were near neck and neck at 7-3 and 6-3 respectively, with I.R.B.'s tournament life riding on the Bills -5 -109. Unfortunately for I.R.B., Trent Edwards had other plans for him as he threw for 3 interceptions and looked like an amateur high school player against a Browns defense that would struggle to pressure a pop warner player. That was all she wrote for I.R.B, but the newcomer was gracious in defeat and put forth his best effort. Congrats Smitch124!
In another close as can be event, Bigdaddy and Tsoprano put on an amazing display of handicapping. Both cappers showed their savy and sports IQ's, and we ended up with a 6-4 to 6-3 scoreline, with Tsoprano having a 2.81 to 1.73 unit lead.
All 128 Man contestants who have gotten so far should be proud, and everyone going forward should be ready for the Sweet 16 round and a chance at parlaying this free opportunity into some big bucks!
